6/20/2009 Distinguished Service Award Presented
This year
the Chorus chose two very deserving volunteers to honor
with their Distinguished Service Award - Mary Powers
Miller and Betty Horner. Both of these women have
donated countless hours in support of the chorus for
many years. Each of them have been strong allies for the
LGBT community through their work with the Open and
Affirming movement within the UCC Churches, PFLAG,
healthcare, and many other avenues.
They join
past recipients - Bob and Joyce Strommen and Denise
Leslie. The Chorus would like to give all of our
volunteers a "thumbs up!"
